Medical assistance (ma) & Minnesota care
Minnesota has health care programs to meet the needs of different people.
Some programs help people who have little to no income. Examples of people these programs may serve include children and those parents unable to work because of serious illness. Other programs help people who work but do not have access to affordable health insurance. People these programs serve include families with parents who are working one or more jobs but do not get health insurance through their jobs. They also include farmers and other self-employed people.
Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary depending on the program you qualify for. Some people can get coverage at no cost.
